Mark Morris Tours - Great Shore Excursions in Ochos Rios!

My family and I recently returned from a fantastic western caribbean cruise on the Voyager of the Seas which included a stop in Ochos Rios, Jamaica. Here we were fortunate enough to take a group on a wonderful shore excursion arranged through Mark Morris Tours (www.MarksTours.com) . Our particular tour was called the 'Dunns River Falls and River Tubing' and proved to be quite a bargain compared to the similar excursion offered by the ship.

Having arranged the tour with Mark prior to our departure, we were happy to be greeted promptly by him upon our debarkation of the ship in Ochos Rios and boarded his very new and clean minibus. He then took us to the popular Dunns River Falls where we climbed up the falls amidst beautiful Flora and Fauna. After our climb we once again boarded the minibus where he took us on a guided tour of the Fern Gully Tropical Rain Forest which also included an incredibly knowledgeable narration of the many cultural and social aspects of Jamaica. Mark provides a wealth of information on this beautiful country and even my children were riveted by comments.

The highlight of the tour was the tranquil tubing down the White River which took about 1 hour and included a fantastic opportunity (for some brave souls!) to jump off a small cliff into the White River. This was quite a sight!

All our cruise participants agreed that this particular tour by Mark Morris was the highlight of our week. Please visit his website at www.MarksTours.com to see his offerings. I highly recommend him!
