For those guests thinking about a family vacation, Celebrity's award-winning Family Program provides fun for everyone, from activities to enjoy together to those specially designed for young people. With a combination of family accommodations, shore excursions designed with families in mind, and the four-tiered supervised youth program, a Celebrity cruise is the perfect vacation for the entire family.Celebrity Cruises offers activities geared to young people as part of its overall onboard entertainment program. Celebrity provides activities for children ages 3-17 with a four-tier, imaginatively created children's program for each age group, run by an exceptional staff of warm, caring, highly trained counselors. It's a program of exciting and educational entertainment in a safe environment about which parents can feel totally secure. There is no charge for participation in the Family Cruising Program.
Safety
Parents can feel secure about leaving their children under the direct supervision of the Celebrity youth counselors. Children ages 3-10 must be signed-in and out of the counselors' care by their parents, who must present their Celebrity Signature Card for identification. To take security one step further, each child is given a special wristband (which is worn for the entire cruise) for instant identification
Staffing
Youth activities are directed and organized by a special staff of youth counselors. Staff members are highly qualified and specially trained in the fields of child psychology, child development, education or recreation. In addition to shore-side teaching experience, counselors have previous cruising experience - working with young people - on Celebrity ships as well as a variety of other cruise lines. Most Celebrity Counselors hail from the United States and Canada.
Celebrity's Four-Tier Family Program
Celebrity Cruises' award winning family program offers onboard entertainment and activities for children and young adults. The four-tiered supervised youth programs are specially created for children ages 3 to 17 with entertainment and activities well suited for each group. Each morning a daily program lists the day's activities, games, parties and more. And special areas are set aside for "kids only" like clubhouses, teen centers, pools and movie theatres. Guests can feel secure leaving their children with specially trained Celebrity Counselors and guarantee that they will come back talking of the great time they've had while learning the secrets of magic or directing a play.
